The Vale of York Polo Club is a friendly country club set up to encourage polo's further expansion in Yorkshire. Constructive tuition and equal opportunity is at the heart of our polo experience.

In 2008 the East Riding of Yorkshire Council awarded VYPC a Top Club Certificate in recognition of its open doors policy and continued Charity work benefitting the local community. Abi Watts a 14 year old student member also received an award for her outstanging achievement in the sport.

The landscaped parkland, lakes and woodland offer stunning scenery and riding opportunities along with regular beach polo matches and a full summer fixtures list including several high profile charity events.

Our superb parkland polo ground with free draining sand soil allowed us to play over 200 chukkas last seaon, and this season we were the first polo club playing on grass in the county.  This provides fantastic value for money for all our members.
